Founded in 1995, JK Manufacturing has grown from a modest workshop into a trusted name in precision manufacturing. Our story begins in Denmark, where Jorgen’s father ran a successful machining business. Inspired by this legacy, Jorgen moved to Australia in the 1990s and established JK Manufacturing in Sydney’s Northern Beaches with just a Hitachi CNC lathe and a manual mill.
Driven by a passion for precision and innovation, the company steadily expanded:
1998 – First Okuma LB15 lathe purchased
2000 – Added an MX55 Milling Machine
2005 – Invested in a multi-axis lathe to enhance machining capabilities
2020 – Added another multi-axis lathe to increase production efficiency
2021 – Upgraded to a new MB56 with 4th Axis, replacing the old MX55
Today, JK Manufacturing specializes in small to medium batch production for medical, mining, deep-sea exploration, fluid management, lighting, and food production industries. Using cutting-edge machining techniques and high-performance materials, we produce components that meet the strictest industry standards.
